Welcome to ITS Academy LAST
In Italy, Higher Technical Institutes (ITS) provide non-university tertiary education leading to a Level 5 EQF qualification. ITS were established by a Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers on January 25, 2008, and became operational with the MIUR-MLPS coordinating Decree on September 7, 2011.
About ITS Academy LAST
ITS Academy LAST offers two-year post-secondary specialization programs in Logistics, Automotive, and ICT. The Academy was created to address industry needs by providing highly qualified professionals that are often difficult to find on the market. The curriculum is designed to train Higher Technicians through a balanced approach: 50% classroom instruction (delivered by high school, university, and industry experts) and 50% practical traineeship in companies.
Teaching methods include theoretical and practical lessons, role-playing, individual and group exercises, company testimonials, case studies, and real-world problem-solving.
With a network of over 600 partner organizations, ITS LAST fosters opportunities for students to develop both technical and soft skills, creating professionals capable of meeting market demands efficiently.
Location and Learning Environment
The Academy is located at Interporto Quadrante Europa in Verona, a major logistics hub at the intersection of the Brenner and Serenissima motorways. This strategic location allows students to immerse themselves in the logistics environment from day one, interacting with industry professionals in real-world settings even during informal moments like coffee breaks.
